Does this edit scanned PDF text?
Scanned pages usually contain one image rather than selectable text. You can select a rectangular content area, but OCR text recognition is not currently provided.
Is the original text permanently redacted?
No. The current deletion covers the selected content in the exported PDF. Do not use it as a security redaction tool for confidential information.
